Vial 5 - Borrelia Series (Lyme)

11/29/2012

I started back with Vial 5 on Sunday. This dose was (like the others) very tough. I tried to think back to last Friday & Saturday which were two days I got a bit of a break. Sometimes it's just so much at once that having a break from the constant pain is such a blessing. Even though it's hard now I know it will be worth it in the end.

The Lyme disease that got into my brain is being flared terribly as I treat. Yesterday I had the most horrible motion sickness from absolutely everything. Looking around the room or having my eyes open at all was unbareable. So I spent time laying in darkness & trying to relax! It's been hard that most my flares are neurological but at the same time that's where things are the worse. It makes perfect sense. However in other cases I can detox vigorously & get some relief. With neurological issues the use of my traditional detox methods don't give me any relief. The only thing that helps at all is getting a massage. My massage therapist is an angel, she knows where to work, how to help me, and makes herself available whenever needed. So blessed to have her in my life.

It's also a full moon today which is a rough time for us Lymies! I pray this week won't be too harsh as I push forward!

Happy Lyme Thanksgiving!

I hope everyone had a wonderful thanksgiving with their family & friends! My thanksgiving was a day late, I was too sick on thanksgiving day, but luckily my family was amazing & accommodating! Friday & Saturday were better days for me so we had a nice feast & enjoyed the day. All gluten free, yeast free, sugar free & soy free! Lots of cooking, but it came together and was very tasty!

I haven't taken my next dose since I was supposed to take it Tuesday. I was just far too ill & herxing to where my liver was in lots of pain. So we are delaying it about a week or so. It doesn't help your body to over-do it, it only leads to more problems. This isn't a race, it's a marathon. Holidays are tough because they are on set days & you can't really predict how you will feel on that particular day. So I hope everyone who felt well went all out & made the best of it! My family really makes a big deal out of holidays & birthdays to help cheer me up & make it something different/special. So it's great. They are what I was most thankful for this year :)

Ill keep this posted when I start back my treatment. It's a full moon this Wednesday so to all my fellow Lymies make sure you take notice & detox detox detox!!

Vial 4 - Borrelia Series (Lyme)

Well, I have nothing good to say about this vial! It was 3 days of feeling pretty miserable, Sunday being the worst. Although Saturday was equally bad minus the fact that the symptoms let up around 9pm that night so I could actually eat a late dinner & sleep well. My biggest complaint is easily my visually sensitivity. It has been through the roof with almost everything I do. I spent the entire day Sunday laying in bed with my eyes shut just listening to movies on TV because even reading a book or magazine was too much. With this my stomach also went hand in hand. Lots of pain, not much to eat & overall a hard 3 days to get through.

I was warned up front that the first 4 vials would be the hardest to tolerate & that was very accurate! With that being said I'm certainly hoping the rest of the doses are slighty easier to handle. I know this disease is without pain, but getting a break would be nice. Especially for the holidays!

Dose 5 is today, still deciding if we will push it back or not ... We shall see how I feel in the evening. Ill keep this posted!

Vial 3 - Borrelia Series (Lyme)

I'm slacking on updating for this Vial! The first day or so was pretty tolerable but the last 2 were more tough. Lots of GI pain, nausea, & my motion sensitivity bothered me with almost everything I did. But all in all I managed to take Vial 4 on time on Friday regardless (yay!) ... So I'm getting closer every day to getting through this.

Hope everyone had a healthy & great weekend! :)

Vial 2 - Borrelia Series (Lyme)

Saturday (the day I took dose 2) was a really active day. I normally spend only 1 hour or 2 max out of bed a day. Even sitting on the couch downstairs is exhausting sometimes because I'm not laying & elevating my legs etc. So I usually am mostly in bed, some days entirely in bed. On Saturday though I was out of bed from 2pm-12am. Which I still don't know how I did it! I spent a lot of time out by the pool, gave myself a manicure, took a long walk with my parents, hung out downstairs & helped with dinner, watched TV on the couch, & then a friend came to visit & we spent a few hours laughing & carrying on. It felt so nice during that time to be normal-ish. I didn't feel awesome but it was tolerable & a really nice surprise! I normally can't do nearly that much no matter how hard I try. Of course Sunday it all hit me & Monday I was completely useless too.

My biggest issue is just exhaustion. When it hits it's the kind that makes me have no will to even lean down & pick up my phone charger. It hurts to even lift my legs. Also my senses have been very flustered. Visually I have had a lot of trouble reading for very long, or doing things on the computer, and even watching TV. I really REALLY hope that this flare is because that part of my brain that is damaged is healing!

Vial 3 tomorrow!

Vial 1 - Borrelia Series (Lyme)

As promised I have a full report on Vial 1. It was a pretty tough 24-36 hours with this dose. Mostly all general flu like symptoms, & a classic herx. I didn't move from my bed for 24 hours just trying to shake it. I had chills, cold sweats, a migraine, stomach ache, exhaustion, and I was sore everywhere. Best description is that it felt like I got hit by a bus (so to speak). But tonight (Friday) I feel better thank god!

Tomorrow I take Vial 2 and await & see what this dose has in store for me. In a way it was good that I got a sudden burst of what it will feel like because now I am more prepared.

Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!

Beginning of Lyme Treatment

11/9/2012

I started Lyme treatment, so I want to apologize in advance for the possible down beat posts that may come. I want to stress that this blog is meant to be positive, but most importantly it's meant to be honest. I am beginning the Borrelia Series homeopathic treatment.

Since my largest issue is the Lyme disease I knew this would also be the hardest hurdle to cross. But, I know it needs to happen. I took my first vial about 6 hours ago & I already feel pretty bad. It's 2am, I can't sleep, my stomach is in knots gargling & I have lots of nervous energy. The box warns the first 4 treatments are the toughest, so I hope this time somehow flies by! I will keep this posted on how this goes updating with each vial.

Here's to praying God makes this journey gentle on my body.
