Sometimes if feels like things are a blur so I was slacking on getting here to update. Vial 10 was mediocre, it wasn't as awful as some of the other doses.
I then started my second round which now goes backwards, so I started with vial 10 & am going down. This first dose was ok the first day but then by day 2 it got tougher in regards to my stomach and headaches etc. I will be updating with Vial 9 soon which I take tomorrow!

Xoxo,

Oy! My stomach keeps being put through the ringer. Vial 9 was no different. I also got an IV for 4 days so that was like my lifeline which was super necessary. Ill be updating on the effects of vial 10 shorty & then I get to start the second round! Whoo hoo.
Slowly but surely getting there.

Vial 7 & 8 - Borrelia Series (Lyme)

Vial 7
went surprisingly smoother then other doses. No major horrible days, no really good days. Mediocre days with fatigue, nausea, not much appetite. I only had motion sensitivity on one small flare, but it was do-able.

Vial 8
Day 1 & half of 2 was tolerable. Then came the longest 24 hour herx yet. Nothing I could do gave relief. Migraine, fever, chills, nausea, and I ate 1,000 calories combined in 2 days! Yuckkkkk. Not a fun time. I post poned dose 9 by a day because I was still too sick to take it on the night I was supposed to. Ill be taking it today! Fingers crossed!

Xoxo,
Christina

Vial 6 - Borrelia Series

Today's post is full of happiness!!! After lots of miserable days of treatment I finally had a really amazing & active day Friday. I spent 7.5 hours straight, with literally 0 stopping to write about 40 Christmas cards, do craft gifts for Xmas & make some Lyme ribbons. And I only stopped because my mom wanted me to save myself. Oh & I had a huge appetite, which was wonderful. And the real victory is that visually all of the hands on work I did not bother me.
This good day is probably not permanent, but that doesn't matter. What matters to me is how great I got to feel & a reminder that looming somewhere underneath all the pain is a normal life.
Today I take dose 7, and there are no guarantees with what it will bring. It may be more tough days but I will remember Friday and how wonderful it was to keep me going! Have a happy weekend everyone!

Xoxo,
Christina

P.S - I decorated my room some with a mini tree & we put up the big tree. Is everyone else in the holiday spirit??

I will be doing a few different treatments as I tackle my Lyme disease and my two co-infections. I will be posting here specifically about my treatment as I go along.
